Locums OB Hospitalist coverage for an inpatient service in California, with 24 hour in house call and a predictable delivery volume. PRN monthly scheduling with emergency privileges available for clean files.
Highlights
- PRN monthly coverage, helpful if you want to add shifts without a full time commitment
- 24 hour restricted call, you remain in house during the shift
- Emergency privileges available for providers with a clean background
- Average volume of 3 to 4 deliveries per day
Practice Setting
- Inpatient OB and GYN coverage
- Coverage for ED and Labor and Delivery, including consults
- Patient population includes adolescents through adults
- OB delivery volume averages 3 to 4 per day
Schedule
- PRN monthly scheduling
- 24 hour shifts with in house restricted call
- Start date listed as November 2026
Cases and Procedures
- Labor and Delivery coverage, including deliveries
- ED coverage and OB GYN consults
- Emergency GYN procedures required
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or Board Eligible within 5 years
- California medical license required, facility will not wait for license
- DEA required
