An established hospital in Beaumont, Texas, is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for locum tenens hospitalist coverage. This opportunity offers a dedicated OB hospitalist model, strong clinical support, and no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Beaumont, Texas
- Start Date: ASAP through December 14, 2026
- Schedule: 4–6 shifts per month
- Shift: 24-hour in-house call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Compensation: $4,500 per 24-hour shift
- Holiday Rate: $5,300 per 24-hour shift
- Contract: 1099
- Travel Support: Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered
- EMR: Epic
- Clinic: No clinic responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide OB triage and emergency obstetric management.
- Manage labor and perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
- Care for unassigned and emergent obstetric patients.
- Respond to Emergency Department consultations.
- Provide surgical assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with private OB physicians in a team-based environment.
- Provide backup coverage for CNMs who serve as first call and are trained in surgical first assist.

Requirements
- Board-Certified OB/GYN.
- Active Texas medical license.
- Active Texas DEA.
- At least 50 vaginal deliveries within the past year.
- At least 10 cesarean section procedures within the past year.
- Case logs documenting the required delivery and cesarean experience must be submitted with the candidate's application.
