Job description
Schedule: Coverage needed December 17-24 and December 31. Includes 24-hour call (7:00 AM-7:00 AM) plus clinic responsibilities. Weekend coverage required.
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 clinic patients per day
EMR: Epic
Required Certifications: Board Certified (ABOG), BLS, and ACLS
Required Procedures/Skills: C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, ectopic pregnancy management, ovarian torsion management, and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding
Credentialing: 60-90 days; temporary privileges available for qualified providers
License Requirements: Active Virginia medical license, Virginia DEA, and Virginia CSR required
Additional Details: Call ratio of 1:4 with low callback volume. Support includes OB hospitalists, surgical assistants, nursing staff, and MFM support for most high-risk cases. Potential for ongoing coverage beyond the initial December dates. Must be available for the listed coverage dates.
