Locum Breast Imaging Radiologist | York, PA | Weekdays Only | No Call

A hospital-affiliated breast imaging center in York, Pennsylvania, is seeking two Breast Imaging Radiologists for locum tenens coverage beginning February 1, 2027. This assignment offers weekday-only scheduling with no evening, weekend, holiday, or call responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights

• Start date: February 1, 2027
• Contract length: Approximately 13 weeks
• Openings: Two
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Flexible coverage of 2–4 weeks per month
• No call
• No evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Hospital-affiliated outpatient breast imaging center
• Primarily adult female patient population
• Comprehensive clinical support, including:
  • Mammography and ultrasound technologists
  • Breast imaging navigators
  • LPNs and RNs
• EMR: Epic
• PACS and technology: Visage PACS, Transpara AI, and Rad AI
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days

Clinical Responsibilities

The physician must be comfortable working independently across comprehensive breast imaging services, including:

• Screening and diagnostic mammography
• Breast ultrasound
• Breast MRI interpretation
• Stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsies
• Ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
• MRI-guided breast biopsies
• Image-guided breast needle localizations
• Contrast-enhanced mammography experience is preferred, or the physician must be willing to learn CEM interpretation

Candidate Requirements

• American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Breast imaging fellowship training or equivalent comprehensive breast imaging experience
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
• Active DEA
• Current BLS
• Comfortable independently interpreting breast MRI
• Comfortable performing image-guided breast procedures
• Recent NPDB self-query and full malpractice disclosure required during presentation
