Job description
A hospital in Flagstaff, Arizona, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician for locum tenens coverage from March 19–21, 2027. This is a short-term hospital-based assignment covering both obstetric and gynecologic services.
Assignment Highlights
- Coverage dates: March 19 at 7:00 PM through March 21 at 7:00 PM
- Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, generally 7:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Covering both OB and GYN
- Approximately 1–3 deliveries per shift
- Average callback workload of 8–12 hours per shift
- Practice setting: Acute care hospital
- Hospital size: 268 beds
- EMR: Cerner
- Emergency credentialing may be available
- Travel and lodging assistance may be provided in accordance with assignment guidelines
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain one through the IMLC
- Active DEA required
- Recent case logs required
- Must have current clinical activity
- Flu and COVID vaccination documentation or eligible declination
- Must be able to complete credentialing documents promptly
