# OB Laborist Opening in Jonesboro, AR OB/GYN - Laborist | Full-Time | Inpatient A hospital-based OB/GYN program in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician to join its expanding OB/GYN Hospitalist team. The opportunity includes inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, emergency support for private practice physicians, and collaboration with a Family Medicine Residency program. Opportunity Highlights:
- Practice in a 457-bed community hospital
- Labor and Delivery unit with 13 Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms, 3 observation rooms, and 2 operating rooms
- 19-bed Level IIIA NICU
- Approximately 1,845 deliveries annually
- Schedule of 7–8 24-hour shifts per 28 days
- Provide inpatient care for unassigned OB patients presenting to Labor and Delivery or the Emergency Department
- Assist private practice physicians with emergencies and requested deliveries
- Provide backup and consultative support to the Family Medicine Residency program
- Manage inpatient gynecology consultations as needed
- Participate in physician leadership for safety and quality initiatives
- Opportunities for academic involvement and teaching
- Nurse Practitioner support on nights and when residents are not on service
