Locums | Obstetrics/Gynecology | Medford, WI (WI license or IMLC) Why This Role

  • No call, weekends, or deliveries
  • Alternating weeks with Monday-Wednesday coverage
  • Primarily Gynecology surgical consultations and procedures
  • Low patient volume, approximately 0-7 visits/day
  • Full calendar year 2027 opportunity
Assignment Details Start: January 4, 2027 Duration: Ongoing through calendar year 2027 Schedule: Alternating weeks, approximately 2 weeks/month Coverage days: Monday-Wednesday during scheduled weeks Hours: 8a-5p Coverage type: Clinic + OR | No Call Setting: Outpatient clinic and Gynecology surgery Locations: Medford and Phillips, WI Patient volume: Varies, up to approximately 7/day No labor and delivery or birthing center No admissions required EMR: Epic Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days; temporary privileges available Hospital/surgical privileges required Schedule Breakdown Week 1: Monday full surgery day; Tuesday-Wednesday clinic Week 3: Monday half surgery day and half clinic in Phillips; Tuesday-Wednesday clinic in Medford Alternating 2nd and 4th weeks may also be considered Clinical Details Gynecology surgical consultations Evaluation of patients requiring care beyond NP scope General OB/GYN office visits as needed Hysterectomies and other Gynecology procedures Office/minor Gynecology procedures, including IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, and related procedures Diagnostic and minor laparoscopic Gynecology surgery Open and major operative Gynecology experience preferred OB ultrasound experience preferred No deliveries or obstetric call Requirements BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology accepted Board Certification not required Active WI medical license or IMLC BLS required Gynecology surgical experience required Experience with hysterectomies and laparoscopic procedures Proficiency in office/minor Gynecology procedures Comfortable providing surgical consultations Availability for alternating Monday-Wednesday coverage Hospital/surgical privileges required Compensation Facility is accepting bids Malpractice provided Licensing costs reimbursed Travel and lodging reimbursement to be confirmed
