Locums | OB/GYN | Colorado Springs, CO (CO or IMLC) Why This Role

  • Offsite night call
  • CO or IMLC accepted
  • 3 weeks + 3 weekends/month
  • Level III Trauma + NICU
  • Fully staffed L&D
Assignment Details Dates: January-April 2027 Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 5p-7a night call Weekend coverage: Friday 5p-Monday 7a Commitment: 3 full weeks + 3 weekends/month Coverage type: Primary offsite pager call Volume: ~60 deliveries/month Setting: Inpatient; Level III Trauma Center + NICU Support: L&D RNs, OB ED, in-house anesthesia, onsite lab and ultrasound EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~90-120 days Clinical Details Primary OB/GYN call coverage Antepartum evaluations, admissions, and daily rounding Low- and high-risk obstetrics Labor and delivery management Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, and VBACs Fetal heart rate interpretation 3rd- and 4th-degree laceration repair GYN emergency department consults Emergent open GYN surgery, including ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and extensive lysis of adhesions Suction D&C Management of cesarean complications, including hysterectomy Backup call coverage for OB hospitalist group Requirements BC in OB/GYN required OB/GYN residency required Active CO license or IMLC with LOQ in hand Must be proficient in required OB, L&D, and GYN procedures ACLS, BLS, and NRP highly preferred Active DEA required for credentialing Must commit to full coverage stints Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
