OB/GYN Physician Needed | 24-Hour Hospital Call Coverage
Protean Med is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to provide hospital-based call coverage in Warrenton, Virginia. Multiple providers may be considered to cover the available dates.
Location: Warrenton, Virginia
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Shift: 24 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
EMR: Meditech

November 3, 10, and 19

December 1, 2, 29, and 31
Position Highlights

24-hour inpatient call coverage

OB/GYN emergency surgeries

Obstetric and gynecologic triage evaluations

Labor and delivery management
-
Recovery and postpartum care

Some shifts have a midwife as first call

Call-back hours vary depending on patient needs
Requirements
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Active Virginia medical license preferred

Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges

Must confirm availability for specific dates

DEA and NRP certifications
