Job Responsibilities:

• Perform emergency surgeries related to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Conduct gynecologic and OB triage evaluations.
• Manage labor and delivery operations.
• Oversee patient recovery and post-partum care.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage, including in-house and phone call duties.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (REQUIRED)
• Active Virginia state license (Preferred)
• Availability for all listed coverage dates (REQUIRED)
• Clean malpractice background to obtain temporary privileges (REQUIRED)
• Prior experience at the facility is advantageous—document last date worked (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• NRP certification
• DEA certification
