Description
Seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin beginning January 4, 2027. This assignment offers a recurring schedule throughout calendar year 2027, combining outpatient clinic visits, surgical consultations, and gynecologic procedures.
The practice does not have a birthing center, and there are no call responsibilities. Patient volume varies by day, with some days seeing only a few patients and others seeing approximately seven.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate patients requiring services beyond the scope of the existing advanced practice provider
Perform gynecologic procedures, including hysterectomies as appropriate to the physician's qualifications and privileges
Provide clinic coverage across two Wisconsin practice locations
Participate in scheduled surgical days and outpatient clinic sessions
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Wisconsin medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
BLS certification required
Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges may be available
Must be qualified to perform the procedures and clinical duties required for the assignment
Working Hours
No call responsibilities
Recurring schedule throughout 2027, generally alternating weeks:
One Monday per month dedicated to a full surgical day, followed by clinic Tuesday and Wednesday
One additional Monday per month split between surgery and clinic, with clinic Tuesday and Wednesday
Coverage may alternate between the first and third weeks or the second and fourth weeks of each month
