Locums | OB/GYN | Hood River, OR (active OR license required)
Why This Role
Flexible full-time or alternating-week schedule
Clinic plus shared beeper call
Low call volume: approximately 0–2 deliveries per 24-hour shift
Two providers may split coverage
Locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details
January 1, 2027–ongoing
Full-time preferred; 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off considered
Clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Approximately 8 call shifts/month: five weeknights and one 24-hour weekend
Weeknight call: 5 p.m.–7 a.m.; weekend call: 7 a.m.–7 a.m.
Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
Approximately 15 patients per shift
Inpatient and outpatient settings
Support from 2 RNs and 4 MAs
Epic EMR
Approximately 90-day credentialing
Clinical Details
Full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology privileges required
Routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
Low-risk pregnancy, fetal heart-rate interpretation, and Level I OB ultrasound
Low-forceps delivery and third- and fourth-degree laceration repair
Office and minor gynecology procedures required
Surgical gynecology preferred
Recent OB and GYN case logs required for privileges
Requirements
BC or BE within 3–5 years
Active Oregon license required
BLS and NRP required
Active DEA
