Low patient volume
Recurring 6–7 days per month
Daily midwife coverage
Assignment Details
Initial required block: November 25–29, 2026
Ongoing need: Approximately 6–7 days per month, with potential for additional coverage
Schedule: 24-hour coverage, 7 a.m.–7 a.m.
Call structure: In-house and beeper/phone call
Coverage type: Inpatient OB/GYN call
Volume: Approximately 1–6 patients daily
Approximately 700–800 deliveries annually
Approximately 140–190 L&D triage visits monthly
Setting: 100% inpatient
Support: Daily midwife coverage, onsite laboratory and ultrasound
Midwives manage and deliver their own patients
Level II nursery
Epic
Approximately 90 days for credentialing; expedited processing available
Temporary privileges available
Clinical Details
Routine vaginal deliveries
Low-forceps deliveries
Cesarean-section decision-making and performance
Breech and multiple-birth deliveries
Placental abruption management
VBAC
Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
GYN call coverage required
Requirements
BC/BE OB/GYN
Active KY license or IMLC
BLS required
Active DEA
Must cover November 25–29 in full
