Locums | OB/GYN | Presque Isle, ME (ME license or IMLC)
Why This Role
Defined January–March 2027 assignment
Midwives provide primary coverage; physician takes backup call
Clinic and hospital work
Multiple providers may share coverage
Assignment Details
January 1–March 31, 2027; specific-term assignment
Scheduled clinical hours plus second/backup call, approximately 1:2
20-minute call response requirement
Approximately 13–18 patients per shift and 230 deliveries annually
Outpatient practice with hospital admissions and assigned-patient rounding
Team includes two RNs, four MAs, and three midwives; midwife supervision required
Cerner
Approximately 60–90-day credentialing
Clinical Details
Low- and high-risk pregnancy care, fetal monitoring, and vaginal and complicated deliveries
C-sections and third- and fourth-degree laceration repair
Laparoscopic and operative gynecology
VBAC and OB ultrasound experience preferred
Requirements
Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
ME license or IMLC
BLS and PALS
