Assignment Details
Dates: December 2026 onward; ongoing
Schedule: Specific coverage dates and shift lengths to be confirmed
Call: Beeper coverage; 7-minute response time; listed call ratio 1:4
Coverage type: Inpatient OB/GYN and laborist call coverage, including admissions
Volume: 10–15 patients per shift; approximately 150 deliveries annually
Setting: Inpatient
Support: 2 MAs and 20 office staff listed; inpatient nursing support not specified
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: 30–60 days
Clinical Details
Required obstetrics: Low-risk pregnancy care, fetal heart rate interpretation, screening OB ultrasound, vaginal and low-forceps deliveries
Required complicated deliveries: C-sections, breech deliveries, abruptions, and repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
Required gynecology: Office/minor procedures, open surgery, minor laparoscopy, and major operative gynecology
Preferred scope: High-risk pregnancy care, targeted anatomic ultrasound, and multiple births
Not required: Amniocentesis, VBACs, or laser certification
Requirements
BC in OB/GYN
Active CA license
BLS and PALS
Active DEA
Availability in December and for ongoing coverage
