Locums | OB/GYN | Federal Way, WA (WA license or IMLC)

Three clinic shifts + one call shift weekly
Flexible coverage weeks
24-hour CNM and nursery support
Three- to six-month assignment
Assignment Details
Start: As soon as credentialed
Duration: 3–6 months
Schedule: Three clinic shifts and one 24-hour in-house call shift per week
Clinic hours: 8 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Call hours: 7 a.m.–7 a.m.; weekend coverage included
Coverage: Inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN
Clinic volume: 18–24 patients daily
Delivery volume: Physician typically delivers 1–2 patients per 24 hours
Setting: Clinic and hospital with Level II nursery staffed 24/7
Support: 24-hour CNM coverage for deliveries, OR first assist, and triage; family medicine OB providers, nursing, sonographer, and ancillary staff
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Minimum 60 days
Clinical Details
Approximately 60–70% OB and 30–40% GYN
Low- and high-risk pregnancies, including diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, and twins
Labor and delivery management; support CNMs and family medicine OB providers
Emergency department GYN coverage
Annual exams, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, and surgical consultations
Office procedures include LEEP, colposcopy, IUDs, and Nexplanon placement
Interpret own ultrasounds during call
Office circumcisions optional
Requirements
BC preferred; truly BE candidates accepted
WA license or IMLC
Current BLS
Active DEA required during credentialing
Local providers highly preferred
