OB Hospitalist Opportunity - Escondido, CA
Full-Time | Permanent | Inpatient Obstetrics
Position Details
* Full-time, 100% inpatient Obstetrics opening located in Escondido, California (30 miles from San Diego)
* Comprehensive hospital-based coverage including L&D, OB triage, antepartum/postpartum care, and ED consultations
* Flexible scheduling featuring day and night shifts, with block scheduling options available for traveling physicians
* Supported by an onsite Level III NICU and state-of-the-art medical technology
* Competitive overall compensation package
Position Responsibilities
* Manage labor and deliveries, ensuring safe and effective maternal and fetal care
* Provide full-spectrum inpatient OB services, including prenatal, antenatal, and postpartum management
* Collaborate closely with community physicians and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality, patient-centered care
* Manage high-risk cases and obstetric emergencies as necessary
Candidate Qualifications
* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
* Valid and active California state medical license
* Strong surgical skills with demonstrated experience managing obstetric emergencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
