OB/GYN Hospitalist Locums, California
- Role: Locum tenens OB/GYN physician for an inpatient OB hospitalist program. Call only, no office coverage. 2 providers needed, starting mid-November 2026, with ongoing need.
- Schedule: 24-hour in-house call (8am to 8am), about 5 to 10 shifts a month, weekdays and weekends. Call room provided.
- Duties: Cover labor and delivery, the emergency department, and inpatient OB and GYN consults. Back up Family Medicine and CNM deliveries, including c-sections and emergencies.
- Setting: Level 2 trauma center with Epic EMR. About 364 deliveries per year and 3 to 5 patients per shift.
- Requirements: Board certified in OB/GYN, active California license, and DEA. Clean file required. Credentialing takes about 30 days, and malpractice insurance is provided.
