Job Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care, including routine and complex deliveries
• Manage gynecological care involving office/minor and surgical procedures
• Supervise family medicine residents and medical students
• Respond promptly to emergency conditions in the ED and L&D
• Conduct rounds for assigned and some unassigned patients

Qualifications

• Active MI medical license (no IMLC)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Completion of a Conscious Sedation module if privileges for administration requested

• Coverage includes 24-hour call

Skills

• Proficient in FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds
• Skilled in vaginal, C-section, breech, multiple births, and VBAC deliveries
• Experienced with gynecological procedures including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, and more
• Preferred skills in open and laparoscopic surgical gynecology
