Med Ninjas is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for long-term locum tenens coverage at an inpatient hospital facility located in Cottonwood, AZ.
The Physician must be available for the scheduled 24-hour call coverage blocks beginning October 30, 2026, through July 12, 2027, as listed below.
This assignment includes hospital-based OB/GYN coverage, 24-hour on-call services, delivery coverage, and support for the Certified Nurse-Midwife when needed.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Obstetrics and gynecology patients
Setting: Hospital-based, 99-bed acute care hospital
Responsibilities: Provide OB/GYN coverage during scheduled call blocks, manage deliveries as needed, and provide coverage for the Certified Nurse-Midwife when required
Required Procedures: OB/GYN services and delivery coverage as needed
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Nurse-Midwife coverage support, as applicable
Days Per Month: Scheduled coverage blocks throughout the assignment
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call coverage, including weekends
Scheduled Coverage Blocks:
- October 30, 2026, 7:00 AM – November 2, 2026, 7:00 AM
- November 6, 2026, 7:00 AM – November 9, 2026, 7:00 AM
- January 1, 2027, 7:00 AM – January 4, 2027, 7:00 AM
- February 5, 2027, 7:00 AM – February 8, 2027, 7:00 AM
- April 2, 2027, 7:00 AM – April 5, 2027, 7:00 AM
- May 15, 2027, 7:00 AM – May 17, 2027, 7:00 AM
- July 9, 2027, 7:00 AM – July 12, 2027, 7:00 AM
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Active Arizona medical license required; IMLC accepted, and licensing may be considered for dates four or more months out
- DEA registration required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience and Cerner charting experience
- COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required; exemptions or declinations may be considered on a case-by-case basis
