Job description OB/GYN Physician – Locum Tenens Opportunity

Location: Minot, North Dakota
Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology

Trauma Level: II

Opportunity Highlights

  • Recurring Weekend Call Coverage: January through August

  • Schedule: Friday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM

  • Call Type: 24-hour call

  • Flexible Coverage: Open to Thursday night call starts or potential weeklong call coverage

  • Support Staff: 2 midwives

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Credentialing: Approximately 6–12 weeks

Dates Needed

  • January: 7–10

  • February: 11–14

  • March: 11–14

  • April: 15–18

  • May: 20–23

  • June: 17–20

  • July: 22–25

  • August: 12–15

Facility & Clinical Details

  • Approximately 1,400 deliveries annually

  • Approximately 700 GYN surgeries annually

  • 12 Labor & Delivery rooms

  • 19 antepartum/postpartum patient rooms

  • 2 C-section operating rooms

  • Level II NICU located nearby

  • Advanced surgical capabilities, including Da Vinci robotics, NovaSure, and laparoscopy

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

  • Active North Dakota medical license or eligible compact licensure

  • Must include the presentation template form with submission
