Locums | OB/GYN Laborist | Modesto, CA (CA license required) Why This Role

  • December-forward availability
Assignment Details Start/end: Ongoing Coverage type: Beeper call Call ratio: ~1:4 Call response: 7 minutes Volume: ~10-15 patients/shift Setting: Inpatient Admissions required Support: 2 MAs + hospital staff EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~30-60 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details Low-risk obstetrics required; high-risk preferred Fetal heart rate interpretation OB ultrasound including Level I/screening; Level II/targeted preferred Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, and C-section decision-making Complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, and abruptions Multiple births preferred 3rd- and 4th-degree laceration repair Minor/office gynecology Open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery Major operative GYN including ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and extensive lysis of adhesions Requirements BC in OB/GYN required Active CA license required BLS and PALS required Active DEA Must be able to provide 100 case logs immediately Must have ongoing availability Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
