Seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for a gap in coverage

Inpatient and outpatient setting within the same facility

Clinic and hospital privileges required

Full-scope General OB/GYN practice
Schedule & Coverage

Clinic coverage with call responsibilities

Weekend call coverage required
-
A second OB/GYN is available 24/7, along with Emergency Department and hospitalist support
-
Approximately 10 clinic patients per day and 0-2 Labor & Delivery patients per day
Clinical Details

Approximately 25 beds, including 5 Labor & Delivery beds
-
Primarily adult patient population, with some pediatric and geriatric patients
-
Rounding and admissions
-
Full-scope General OB/GYN procedures
-
Scheduled surgeries are generally not expected unless additional coverage or first-assist support is needed
-
EMR: EPIC
Requirements
-
BLS certification required
-
24 months of case logs required
-
Must be willing and able to move quickly through the Alaska medical licensing process
-
Prior malpractice cases will not be considered due to credentialing requirements
-
Standard credentialing timeline: 60-90 days
