Job description
OnCall Solutions is partnering with a hospital-based OB/GYN program in Texas seeking MD/DO physicians for long-term locum tenens coverage.
Schedule
• 24-hour shifts, 9a–9a
• Full-time: 6–8 shifts per month
• Part-time: 3–4 shifts per month
• PRN: No minimum
• Weekend-only candidates considered
Scope of Practice
• Labor & delivery coverage
• Vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Circumcisions
• D&C procedures, including main OR cases
• ED consultations for OB/GYN care plans and dispositions
• Immediate, urgent, and emergent OB/GYN care
• Collaborative care with CNMs
Practice Environment
• Single-physician, continuous 24-hour coverage model
• Reported annual delivery volume: 685
• CNM assistance with C-sections
• L&D surgical techs staffed 24/7
• Additional OR call support
• Level I NICU
• Epic EMR
Qualifications & Credentialing
• MD or DO
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
• Delivery and surgical case logs required
• Approximately 90-day credentialing timeline
• Minimum 50 deliveries for temporary privileges; case-log timeframe to be confirmed
