This regional medical center is part of the most comprehensive, integrated health care system in Connecticut, employing over 2,500 providers across more than 500 practice locations throughout the state. The facility features a busy regional birthing center with 1,600 births per year, a Level IIIa NICU, Robotic OR, 24-hour anesthesia, and serves as a regional referral center for High Risk OB and Level II ultrasounds within a thriving Maternal Fetal Medicine service.Opportunity:
Physician - OB/GYNJob Details:
- Hospital Outpatient Department schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekend availability as permitted by patient needs and call rotations
- Join a busy regional birthing center with 1,600 births per year
- Access to a Level IIIa NICU, Robotic OR, and 24-hour anesthesia on site
- Serve as a regional referral center for High Risk OB and Level II ultrasounds within a thriving Maternal Fetal Medicine service
- Enjoy a mix of outpatient clinical sessions and flex time for covering the clinic, OR, and Labor and Delivery
- Participate in teaching 40 UConn residents rotating throughout the year
- Daytime schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements
- Academic appointment at the University of Connecticut
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
- Board certified or board eligible OB/GYN required
