• Ongoing Availability: Potential for 1–4 shifts per month as needs arise

OB/GYN Physician Job Requirements

• Valid MD or DO degree
• At least 1 year of experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Current authorization to practice in Maryland
• Experience managing deliveries and emergent gynecologic surgeries
• Experience with inductions involving VBACs is required
• Ability to provide dependable 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
• Providers may not work more than 48 consecutive hours without prior departmental approval

OB/GYN Locum Tenens Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic coverage during assigned 24-hour call shifts
• Cover all deliveries, including the management of complex and urgent obstetric presentations
• Evaluate and treat emergent gynecologic conditions
• Perform or coordinate emergent gynecologic surgeries as clinically indicated
• Manage labor and delivery patients, including VBAC inductions
• Provide timely clinical decision-making, documentation, and communication with the care team
