Position Overview

MyMichigan Health is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens assignment at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland.

The primary responsibility is in-house OB/GYN call coverage in Midland. Providers who are willing to obtain additional credentials may also be considered for coverage at Alma, Alpena, and West Branch.

Requirements

• MD required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• BC/BE within the last 5 years

• Minimum 1 year of experience

• Active Michigan medical license preferred

• IMLC candidates may be considered

• BLS and ACLS required

• Must have case logs demonstrating:

  • 50 deliveries within the last 12 months

  • 25 GYN procedures within the last 12 months

• Medical school must be on the California Approved List

• Residency/fellowship must be ACGME approved

• Clean NPDB

• No significant malpractice issues

• Three professional references who worked with the provider within the past 18 months

• Clean OIG search

• Fluent English / Native or bilingual English proficiency

Required Clinical Experience

Provider should be comfortable with:

• Labor & Delivery (L&D)

• C-Sections

• Suction D&C

• Laparoscopy

• Tubal ligations

• Reading NSTs

• Circumcisions not required

EMR

EPIC / Dragon

Compensation

Midland: $7,800 all-inclusive per 24-hour shift

Alma / Alpena / West Branch: $6,500 all-inclusive per 24-hour shift

Credentialing

• Typical timeframe: approximately 30 days

• Applications prioritized based on start date

• Michigan license preferred

• IMLC may be considered
