Job description

Essentia Health's Duluth Clinic (3rd Street Building) needs a dermatologist, starting 11/23/2026, ongoing, no call. $308/hour. Numerous confirmed blocks between now and next April, client is looking for ongoing availability rather than a one-off block.

Job Responsibilities

Outpatient dermatology, 24-32 patients per shift, 15-20 minute appointments, both in-clinic and virtual visits. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat benign and malignant skin conditions across all ages, including skin cancer, moles, and tumors, contact dermatitis, allergic and non-allergic skin disorders, cosmetic skin concerns (hair loss, scarring, aging changes), and STDs. Simple excision and repair, skin and nail biopsy, dermatologic surgery, electrosurgery, and cryosurgery. No Mohs surgery, no cosmetic surgery. Equipment includes DAX AI, DermLite, and Hyfrecators. 2 MAs supporting you. Chart in Epic.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible. Fellowship required. No state license required to bid. Credentialing runs 45-120 days.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 7:40am-4:40pm, lunch blocked 12-1. No holidays, no call. Confirmed blocks: 11/23-25, 11/27, 12/21-24, 12/28-31, 1/4-8, 1/25-29, 2/1-5, 2/15-19, 3/1-5, 3/15-19, 3/29-4/2, 4/12-16, and more, ongoing availability preferred.
