OBGYN Physician Locums Job in South Carolina
Our client is seeking OB/GYN physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity offering a combination of outpatient clinic and clinic call. Coverage options may be separated based on provider availability and interest.
Details of Assignment #117310:
--Ongoing coverage with continuity strongly preferred
--Seeking 2 OB/GYNs in clinic each week
--Monday–Friday clinic schedule
--Prefer physicians who can cover full weeks and at least 2 weeks per month
--Clinic Volume: Approximately 25–30 patients per day
--Dedicated MA and Nurse for each physician
--3 ultrasound rooms with ultrasound tech support
--IUD insertions expected
--Sporadic OB Hospitalist coverage may also be available
--Current rotation is 1:6, with a goal of moving to 1:8 with additional locums
--Call rotates every 24 hours
--On call days, physicians cover Labor & Delivery rather than clinic
--Approximately 6 deliveries per call day
--NP provides morning L&D rounds and assists with discharges
