Practice Highlights

• Provide full-spectrum OB/GYN care to a diverse community
• Manage gynecologic consultations referred by primary care providers and in-house midwives
• Perform a variety of office-based gynecologic procedures
• Steady surgical volume with access to 3 new operating rooms
• Perform minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries
• 3–4 clinic days per week
• Approximately 12–14 patients per day
• Average of 3 dedicated OR days per month
• Provide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including uncomplicated deliveries
• Manageable 1:4 home call rotation
• Support a birth center offering:
  • VBACs
  • Water birth
  • Nitrous oxide
  • 24-hour epidural services
• Collaborative team including physicians, certified nurse midwives, NPs, nurses, and MAs
• Evidence-based, comprehensive OB/GYN practice

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency in the U.S. or Canada
• If Board Eligible, provide graduation date
• Active Vermont medical license prior to start
• Clean malpractice history
• NPDB Self-Query Report pulled within 30 days
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance; candidates commuting more than 1 hour are not being considered
