Practice Highlights

• Provide comprehensive hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting
• Manage approximately 80 deliveries per month
• Collaborate with a community healthcare partner (FQHC) and midwives
• Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients
• Daily rounding on post-operative and postpartum patients
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including:
  • Anesthesia
  • NICU
  • Midwives
  • Hospital and community healthcare providers
• Collaborative care model focused on patient safety and community health

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in OB/GYN — Required
• Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain
• NPDB Self-Query Report pulled within 30 days
• Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
• Candidates must have U.S. Board Certification
• Malpractice history must not include cases requiring probate or ongoing supervision
