Locums – Paducah, Kentucky, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date

• November 25, 2026
• Coverage dates: November 25–29
• Approximately 6–7 shifts per month with potential for additional coverage

Schedule

• 7:00am–7:00am
• 24-hour call coverage
• EMTALA call coverage

Practice Setting

• Hospital
• Labor and Delivery
• Level II nursery
• Onsite labs and ultrasound
• Low volume of C-section patients
• Midwives take calls and deliver their own patients

Patient Population / Volume

• Adults
• Approximately 1–6 patients per day
• 700–800 total deliveries annually
• 140–190 L&D triage visits per month

Required Duties / Procedures

• Routine vaginal deliveries
• Low-forceps deliveries
• Decision-making for C-sections
• Complicated deliveries, including:
  • C-sections
  • Breech deliveries
  • Multiple births
  • Abruptions
• VBACs
• Repair of 3rd- and 4th-degree lacerations
• GYN call coverage required

EMR

• Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Kentucky license or active IMLC
• BLS required
• DEA required
