A hospital in the Paducah, KY area needs OB/GYN call coverage, confirmed dates Nov 25-29, 2026, no exceptions, with 6-7 shifts a month ongoing potential after that. $1,750 per 24-hour call day, $325/hr callback. 1-3 providers needed for the ongoing need.

Job Responsibilities

In-house and beeper/phone call, 7am-7am. Routine vaginal and low forceps deliveries, C-section decision-making, complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), VBACs, and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. GYN call coverage required. Midwives take their own call and deliver their own patients, low volume of C-section patients, daily midwife coverage. 1-6 patients per day, 100% inpatient. Chart in Epic.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology) required. Active Kentucky license or active IMLC required. BLS and DEA required. Must be available for the confirmed Nov 25-29 window, no exceptions. Prior BSMH work history must be disclosed at name-clear if applicable, no exceptions. Credentialing runs approximately 90 days, can be expedited by need, temp privileges available.

Working Hours

Confirmed: Nov 25-29, 2026. Ongoing: 6-7 shifts/month with potential for more, 7am-7am beeper call.
