A rural hospital in the Ganado, AZ area needs an OB/GYN physician for a 240-day assignment, Monday-Friday clinic and inpatient rounding plus call. Strong compensation. All-inclusive expenses, including on-site shared housing.

Job Responsibilities

Provide prenatal and postnatal care, high-risk pregnancy management, gynecology clinic, gynecologic surgery, cesarean sections, and simple family planning surgeries (tubal ligation, etc). Note the facility does not perform elective pregnancy termination. Reports to the Women and Infant Services Department Director. About 15-20 clinic patients per day, roughly 200 deliveries a year, ages 16 and up. Work alongside FP-OB physicians, pediatricians, and the nursing team. Chart in Meditech.

Qualifications

Board certified required. Active Arizona license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required. Provider may begin work while an Arizona license application is pending, must apply within 3 months. Temporary privileges available for a clean background.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, clinic and inpatient rounding. Call is required, approximately 10 shifts per month, weeknights and weekends.
