OB/GYN Physicians — Paducah, Kentucky is looking for locum coverage!
Inpatient OB/GYN coverage with a manageable patient volume, midwife support, and ongoing opportunities.
📍 Paducah, KY
🗓 Nov 25–29, 2026
🕐 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM | 24-hour shifts
🏥 100% Inpatient
📞 In-house + beeper/phone call
💻 Epic EMR
👶 700–800 deliveries/year
📊 1–6 patients/day
👩⚕️ 1–3 physicians needed
What You'll Cover
👶 Routine vaginal deliveries & low-forceps deliveries
🏥 Decision-making for C-sections
🚨 Complicated deliveries including breech, multiples & abruptions
🔄 VBACs
🩺 Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
📞 GYN call coverage is required
Facility Highlights:
✅ Midwives take call and deliver their own patients
✅ Low C-section volume
✅ Level II nursery
✅ Onsite lab & ultrasound
✅ 140–190 L&D triage visits/month
✅ Travel reimbursement available
Requirements
✅ Board Certified or Board Eligible — American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
✅ Active Kentucky license or IMLC
✅ BLS
✅ DEA
✅ Must be available Nov 25–29 — no exceptions
⏱ Credentialing: Approximately 90 days, with expedited credentialing possible.
