A hospital in the Hood River, OR area is filling a long-term OB/GYN vacancy starting 1/1/2027, and paying top of market to do it right. Preference is one provider full-time, but they'll take two splitting 1 week on/1 off or 2 weeks on/2 off if that fits your life better.

Job Responsibilities

Clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8am-5pm, about 15 patients per shift. Approximately 8 call shifts a month, sporadic rather than back to back, mostly weeknight beeper call plus one 24-hour weekend call shift monthly. Full scope OB and GYN, 0-2 deliveries typical during 24hr call, in-office procedures, minor GYN and OR surgery. Both OB and GYN privileges required, including coverage for emergent cases like ectopic pregnancy. Support staff includes 2 RNs and 4 MAs. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years. Active Oregon license required, cannot wait on licensure. BLS and NRP required. DEA required. OB and GYN case logs within the past 24 months required to obtain privileges. Credentialing runs approximately 90 days.

Working Hours

Clinic 8am-5pm, M/Tu/Th/F. Weeknight call 5pm-7am, weekend 24-hour call 7am-7am. About 8 call shifts a month total.

Skills

Full scope OB/GYN, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, in-office GYN procedures, emergent GYN surgery (ectopic management).
