Locum Physician - OB/GYN in Paducah, KY

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide routine delivery services, including vaginal and low forceps deliveries.
• Make critical decisions for C-sections and manage complicated deliveries such as breech births and multiple births.
• Conduct VBACs and repair significant lacerations (3rd and 4th degree).
• Ensure GYN call coverage as required, with a focus on inpatient care.
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for documentation.
• Collaborate with midwives who will deliver their own patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology).
• Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• DEA registration.
• Must be available for coverage from November 25-29, without exceptions.
• Previous experience at the facility is preferred; include details if applicable.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Kentucky Medical License or active IMLC.
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility (American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology).
• Current BLS certification.
• DEA registration.
