Locums – Janesville, Wisconsin, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• Coverage: November 2026-November 2027
• Hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
• Approximately 21 shifts per month
• 24-hour shifts with weekday and weekend coverage
• Weekend availability preferred, particularly Friday-Sunday
• Approximately 500-600 births annually

Open Shifts

• November 9, 10, 12, and 16
• December 17 and 30
• All shifts: 7:00 am-7:00 am

Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations

• Routine labor management
• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• Postpartum rounding
• Emergency gynecologic consults as needed
• Limited high-risk obstetrics
• Patients under 36 weeks gestation are transferred
• Epidurals available but require call-in coverage
• CNM support
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board certification required
• Active Wisconsin license or IMLC accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• DEA and CSR required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Willingness to provide additional regional coverage as needed is a plus
