REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries
- Decision-making for Cesarean sections
- Complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions)
- VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- GYN call coverage
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible – American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Licenses: Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA: Active DEA Certification
- Certifications: BLS
- Other Qualifications: Must be available for coverage Nov 25-29; please note if provider has worked previously at BSMH
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-call coverage for OB/GYN emergencies
- Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
- Make decisions and perform Cesarean sections as needed
- Manage complicated deliveries including breech, multiple births, and abruptions
- Provide GYN call coverage including repair of lacerations
