OB/GYN Physician | New York | Ongoing Assignment

A growing community health organization in New York is seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician for an immediate locum or temp-to-perm opportunity.

This position offers a consistent, flexible schedule combining outpatient care, surgical responsibilities, and hospital call coverage.

Position Highlights

• Immediate opening
• Locum or temp-to-perm
• Approximately three clinical days per week
• Office and/or surgical days
• One 24-hour on-call shift per week
• Long-term scheduling potential
• Collaborative clinical support
• Approximately 20-minute patient appointments
• eClinicalWorks EMR
• Approximately 90-day credentialing timeline

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal and postpartum care
• Deliver comprehensive gynecologic care
• Treat acute gynecologic conditions
• Manage laboring patients during assigned call shifts
• Perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures and surgeries
• Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives, nurses, medical assistants, and physicians
• Provide clinical supervision as appropriate
• Complete accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active New York medical license
• Active DEA
• Clean malpractice history
• Comfortable providing clinical and on-call coverage
