### Locums | OB/GYN | Northern Michigan (Active MI License Required) ### Why This Role

  • Ongoing call coverage
  • Flexible commitment of approximately 3‚Äì6 days per month
  • Two physicians needed

Assignment Details Locations: Gaylord, Cadillac, and Charlevoix, Michigan Start Date: Not specified Duration: Ongoing Commitment: Approximately 3–6 days per month Schedule: Dates and days vary Shift: 24-hour call, typically 7:00 AM–7:00 AM Coverage Type: Beeper/phone call Call Ratio: Approximately 1:5 Weekend Coverage: Required as scheduled Setting: 100% inpatient/hospital-based Patient Volume: Approximately 2–5 patients daily, depending on census and acuity Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Temporary Privileges: Available EMR: Oracle ### Requirements Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active Michigan medical license at submission Must be willing to cover all three locations Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP, and DEA at offer Broad-scope inpatient OB/GYN experience Ability to practice independently in a rural setting Clean malpractice and licensure history with no exceptions ### Preferred Michigan resident ### Clinical Details Adult patient population Routine vaginal deliveries Cesarean sections Management of obstetric emergencies Comprehensive inpatient obstetrical and gynecological care Independent coverage with minimal supervision Level I and Level II trauma settings across the coverage locations Lodging, mileage, or rental car covered within policy
