Job Details

• Position: Locum tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician
• Location: Issaquah, Washington
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient OB/GYN clinic
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Coverage Needed: 5–10 shifts per month initially, increasing to 10–15 shifts per month during the broader coverage period
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,160–$8,750
• Start Date: January 2027
• Duration: Ongoing locum tenens coverage

Job Requirements

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Washington medical license required
• DEA certification required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology or a similar women’s health setting
• Experience with outpatient clinic workflows and continuity of care
• Comfort managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
• Ability to begin the credentialing process with ample lead time

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient OB/GYN care in a clinic setting
• Evaluate and manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring, including NST/CST/FSE as needed
• Perform and interpret Level I screening obstetric ultrasounds
• Manage routine deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and low-forceps assistance
• Participate in decision-making for cesarean sections and manage complicated deliveries
• Perform cesarean sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, VBAC management, and abruptions care when indicated
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office-based gynecology services such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
• Collaborate with clinic staff to support a smooth, patient-centered women’s health experience
