Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician
• Location: Hood River, Oregon
• Healthcare Setting: Clinic and hospital call coverage
• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM clinic hours
• Call Coverage: Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $8,290 - $8,880
• Start Date: January 1, 2027
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Openings: 2

Job Requirements

• Active Oregon medical license
• Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OB/GYN experience
• Experience supporting both OB and GYN privileges with case logs from the past 24 months
• Comfort with low-risk pregnancy care, fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasound, deliveries, and minor gynecology procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based OB/GYN care and locum tenens call coverage
• Manage inpatient and outpatient women’s health services
• Interpret fetal monitoring and perform OB ultrasound screening and interpretation
• Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean decision-making, and complicated deliveries as needed
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Complete office and minor gynecology procedures such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Assist with emergent gynecologic care and minor OR procedures when indicated
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care
