Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
EMR: EPIC
License: Active Washington license required
FTE: 1.0
Setting: Hospital-based, inpatient coverage
Clinic privileges may also be requested if the need expands to include outpatient coverage
Patient Population: Adult women
Department Volume: Approximately 50-75 deliveries per month
Support: Other OB/GYN providers available; physician will not work solo
Rounding & Admissions: Both required
Call Details
24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Approximately 2-6 deliveries per 24-hour shift
Occasional calls from the ED
Backup support from hospitalists
Call shifts are not formally restricted to in-house coverage; however, due to the patient volume, providers typically remain onsite during their shift, either actively working or resting onsite

Other inpatient OB/GYN procedures
Required Case Logs
Within the previous 24 months, providers must document:
At least 100 OB patients, including:
15 Cesarean sections
30 vaginal deliveries
At least 50 gynecology patients
Case documentation must demonstrate experience representative of the scope and complexity of the requested privileges.
Requirements
Board Certification in OB/GYN
Active Washington medical license required at the time of presentation due to credentialing turnaround time
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
EPIC experience preferred
