Alaska-Licensed OB/GYN Physician Needed – Ongoing Locum Tenens Call Coverage
Noor Locums is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology physician with an active Alaska medical license or IMLC for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity
This is an inpatient, call-only assignment providing coverage for both Obstetrics and Gynecology. The physician will take beeper call with a 30-minute response time and should be comfortable managing routine and complex OB/GYN cases.

- Approximately 2 admissions per 24 hours
- Cerner/Athena EMR
- Inpatient OB/GYN coverage
The ideal physician will be experienced with routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, high-risk pregnancy, fetal heart rate interpretation, VBACs, breech and multiple births, abruptions, and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
Experience with gynecologic procedures, including IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, LEEP, laparoscopic procedures, and operative gynecology, is also relevant.
Alaska license required. This opportunity will only consider physicians currently licensed in Alaska and IMLC.
Job Responsibilities
Respond to OB/GYN consultations and urgent patient needs
Manage routine and complicated deliveries
Perform C-sections as clinically indicated
Evaluate and manage high-risk pregnancies
Manage OB/GYN emergencies
Admit and manage patients requiring inpatient care
Perform appropriate gynecologic procedures and surgical interventions
Qualifications
BLS required
PALS required
NRP required
Strong inpatient OB/GYN experience
Comfortable providing beeper call coverage
Able to meet a 30-minute call response requirement
