Job description
We are seeking full-time OB/GYN physicians to join an expanding Women’s Health program. This opportunity allows candidates to be considered for either a traditional OB/GYN role or a dedicated OB Hospitalist/Laborist position based on experience and career preferences. Located just 25 miles north of NYC, we offer a high-acuity, technologically advanced environment with strong clinical support and a collaborative culture focused on quality and patient outcomes.
Two Career Tracks Available
- Generalist OB/GYN (Clinic Surgical OB Care)
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Full-spectrum women’s health care (clinic, surgery, deliveries)
- Join established OB/GYN Partners group
- Team-based care with MDs, NPs, and RNs
- Approximately 650 deliveries annually within group
- OB Hospitalist / Laborist
- 100% inpatient Labor & Delivery coverage
- 12-hour shifts with 24/7 in-house model
- No call requirement
- High-volume program (~2,500 deliveries annually)
- Dedicated focus on obstetric care and patient safety
Generalist OB/GYN Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum OB/GYN care: Prenatal, antepartum, labor & delivery
- Postpartum care and routine gynecology
- Manage high-risk pregnancies as appropriate
- Perform gynecologic and minimally invasive/robotic procedures
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams across outpatient and hospital settings
OB Hospitalist / Laborist Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient obstetric coverage on L&D
- Manage deliveries, triage, and OB emergencies
- Support private OB/GYNs and ensure continuity of care
- Work within a high-acuity tertiary care setting
- Collaborate closely with nursing, NICU, and surgical teams
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency
- Eligible for New York medical licensure
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Team-oriented approach with strong communication skills
- 1 year experience preferred (hospitalist fellowship considered for laborist track)
