Schedule: 4–6 shifts per month
Shift: 24-hour in-house call, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
Compensation: $4,500 per 24-hour shift
Position Highlights
24-hour in-house OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
No office call responsibilities
CNMs take first call
Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team
In-house Neonatologist
24/7 Anesthesia coverage
OB/GYN Hospitalists, CNMs, and Family Medicine Physicians on staff
Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
Serve as the primary safety net for the Labor & Delivery unit
Provide pregnancy-related and gynecologic consultations to the ED and medical floors
Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to discharge
Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives
Follow evidence-based protocols and patient safety standards
Required Experience
Candidates must have recent experience with:
Vaginal deliveries
Cesarean sections
Emergency obstetrical procedures

Hospital is a 369-bed acute care and surgical facility serving the Arlington community for more than 60 years.

Approximately 1,300–1,500 births annually
20-bed Level III NICU

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency
Robotics training
Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
Recent delivery and surgical experience required
