A Charlottesville, Virginia hospital is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN MD/DO for ongoing inpatient coverage.
Opportunity Highlights
- 24-hour call shifts, 7 AM–7 AM
- Full-scope inpatient OB/GYN
- Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- OB/GYN emergency and surgical care
- Approximately 20–40 deliveries/month
- Growing obstetric volume
- Level II NICU
- Dedicated L&D OR
- Epic EMR
Clinical Scope
- Labor and delivery
- Vaginal and C-section deliveries
- OB/GYN emergencies
- Hysterectomy
- D&C
- Hysteroscopy
- Ovarian cystectomy
- Emergency GYN procedures
- Hospital admissions and unassigned ED admissions
Requirements
- BC OB/GYN MD/DO
- Active VA license or eligibility to obtain/transfer
- VA DEA
- Full-scope OB/GYN experience
- Comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Experience with OB/GYN emergency surgical procedures
