Locum Tenens OB/GYN — New Mexico | January 2027 Start | Ongoing

OnCall Solutions is partnering with a healthcare organization in New Mexico seeking Board Certified OB/GYN physicians for ongoing locum tenens coverage beginning January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN interested in a consistent combination of clinic coverage, labor and delivery, gynecologic procedures and 24-hour beeper call.

Opportunity Highlights

• Start: January 1, 2027

• Assignment: Ongoing

• 10–20 shifts per month

• Potential for full monthly blocks

• Clinic + 24-hour beeper call

• Approximately 40 deliveries/month

• Approximately 12–13 patients per shift

• Epic EMR

• Low-volume practice environment

• Independent practice

• MA and PA/NP support

• Inpatient + outpatient responsibilities

• No resident supervision

• No APP supervision required

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday clinic: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM and 1:00 PM–3:00 PM

• Friday clinic: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM

• 24-hour beeper call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

• Providers remain on call during clinic hours

• Weekend call coverage included

Clinical Responsibilities

The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including:

• Low- and high-risk pregnancy management

• Fetal heart rate interpretation

• OB ultrasound

• Vaginal deliveries

• C-sections

• Complicated, breech and multiple births

• VBACs

• Management of abruptions

• 3rd- and 4th-degree laceration repair

• IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery and LEEP

• Open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery

• Ectopic pregnancy management

• Oophorectomy

• Cystectomy

• Extensive lysis of adhesions

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Active New Mexico medical license

• Active New Mexico DEA

• Active New Mexico CSR

• Current BLS
  

• Strong recent OB/GYN procedural and delivery experience

• Comfortable practicing independently

• Available for ongoing coverage beginning January 2027
