Job description CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston, ND is seeking a board certified or eligible OB/GYN physician for 24-hour call coverage. Pay is $3,250 per 24-hour call period, which includes 4 hours gratis, plus $350/hr for callback time beyond that. Average callback runs 7.5 hours per call period, which brings a typical call day to roughly $5,875 in total earnings. This is inpatient coverage with a defined holiday block need, December 24 through January 4, 7 AM to 7 AM daily. Travel and lodging are covered, with Candlewood Suites in Williston as the preferred accommodation.

Job Responsibilities

Provide full-scope OB/GYN coverage including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repair, and D&Cs. Round on inpatients and respond to deliveries as they present. Respond to the ER for urgent OB/GYN cases during the call period. Handle an average of 1-3 admissions per day and a facility volume of 50-60 deliveries per month. Work alongside Dr. Teuma, family practice with OB, as support staff during coverage.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Active BLS and DEA required. Comfortable with full-scope inpatient OB/GYN call, including surgical and emergency deliveries. Meditech, Dragon, PACS, eRx (Dr. First), and Imprivata Tap and Go experience preferred.

Working Hours

24-hour call coverage, 7 AM to 7 AM, with 4 hours gratis built into each call period. Coverage need spans December 24 through January 4. Average callback time is 7.5 hours per call period.

Skills

Full-scope obstetric surgical competency, comfort with high-acuity call environments, and the ability to manage inpatient rounding alongside delivery and ER response duties within the same call window.
